Common Wood is an ancient woodland located on the edge of the Chilterns in South Bucks. Covering an area of approximately 250 acres, the wood is managed for the benefit of the local community by the Penn and Tylers Green Residents Society. The society, with help from the Woodland Trust, Chiltern Society, woodland management specialists and local residents carries out an on-going management programme to preserve and protect the natural habitat whilst providing excellent facilities and access. Many of the extensive network of paths are suitable for use by pushchairs, wheelchairs etc, and are useable throughout the year. If you would like to get involved, look out for news of up-coming events.
